Description Curved boomerang with asymmetrical, slightly tapered arms and rounded tips. Top surface convex and fluted with 10-11 parallel longitudinal flutes, bottom surface slightly convex with visible tool marks. Bottom surface also has an inscribed mark of three semicircular parallel lines, 2 cm long, located 4.5 down from the tip. Top and bottom surfaces red ochred. This shape, fluting, and ochre use are typical of Central Australian hunting boomerangs (Jones 1996:46).
