Description A small blackware jar with an animal figure and a single handle. Facial features of the animal figure suggest a feline. Animal's mouth is open wide and serves as the jar opening. Figure has a prominent nose, bulging eyes, and upright ears. Handle extends from figure's neck to the body of the vessel. Top of the vessel is decorated with stippled dots and incised lines.

Provenance Original archaeological provenience is unknown. Collector is [Inge Schjellerup] of the National Museum of Denmark. Donated by Inge Schjellerup to the Stanford University Collections in 1986.
