Description A textile fragment, possibly a manta. Made of camelid fiber and cotton. Slit tapestry and plain weave construction. The main portion is decorated with yellow birds, yellow frogs, and yellow snails. The three fringe fragments are decorated with yellow tadpoles. A secondary yellow border is decorated with pink birds.

Date Late Intermediate Period
Provenance Collected and donated by [Jane Stanford before 1905]. Original accession number was LSJM 2706. It was recurated and assigned a new number in 1980.
