Description |
Rubbing replica of a portion of Stela 2 from Maya Site Dos Pilas on rice paper (?). Depicts Ruler 3, called Ucha'an K'in B'alam, with a large headdress and dressed in regalia. He is defeating rival ruler Yich'aak B'alam of Seibal. That defeat occurred in 735. Ruler 3 ruled 6 January 727 through 28 May 741 CE and his names include Master of Sun Jaguar, Scroll-head God K, Spangle-head, Jewelled Head. |
