Description |
Large curved, L-shaped animal horn, probably a musical instrument. Horn is hollow with an open end and a wooden rod enters the horn through an angled hole on one side and appears to run through the interior of the horn to the end (not visible). The rod is also hollow and the end which protrudes outside the horn has a bone or ivory disk threaded on it. The end of the wooden rod is paler and shows residue of glue or paste suggesting that something was originally attatched to it (possibly a mouthpiece?) |
